About Nancy

My Story

Nancy Olson has been singing country and gospel music for over 50 years. She was born and raised in central Indiana. She began singing in public, accompanying herself on the guitar, at the age of nine. In 1980 she met and married the love of her life, Joe, and they began traveling all over Indiana and into the surrounding states playing country and gospel music, and sharing God’s love through His word and song. Joe and Nancy quickly started a family and had two sons, J.R. and Joey, who were seventeen months apart in age.

J.R. started singing with his parents when he was two and a half years old, and became their drummer when he was thirteen. In August of 1995 J.R. was suddenly called home to be with the Lord at the tender age of fourteen. While maneuvering through this uncharted territory of grieving for their son, Joe and Nancy recorded a gospel CD in J.R.’s memory. The CD titled Labor of Love includes some original songs the Lord gave them after J.R.’s passing.

From that point on they both felt the Lord leading them to focus primarily on ministering through their music to people who were grieving the loss of loved ones.  Several years later Joe began to have health problems and his physical condition slowly deteriorated. After many hospital stays and procedures, Joe was called home to be with the Lord in July of 2020.
